Exceptional

Very nice location in a quite surrounding and diner is excellent. We managed to see the northern light from our bed.

The prices for the activities are high. It's easy to arrange activities in the neighborhood though (at least when you have a car, which I would definitely recommend).

A memorable stay in Lapland!

The staff were friendly, the location is very pretty and lots of activity options. The cabins were very cosy and very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. It was nice to have coffee and tea on offer. We also loved the traditional sauna and icy lake plunge!

No bottled water in the rooms but the tap water was good. Slippers, robes and body lotion or hand cream would be nice considering the price.

Most amazing stay in Ivalo

This was truly a superb stay. This is a family owned business, and they go above and beyond to make sure they can help you. The location is ideal, and I got to see the aurora from my bed. The toiletries are the wonderful Rituals collection. So many amazing amenities.

I wish I'd stayed longer....

This place is special, nestled into the woods on the river with snow shoe paths, cozy accommodations

This place is magical. Everything was perfect. Nestled in the woods in a truly quiet place. There's privacy and mother nature at your doorstep. Beautiful and serene. The accommodations allow you excellent views of the northerm lights all the while feeling there's no one else around you. The private sauna is heaven

The prices for activities are a bit much but you know this before. Besides that it was amazing and the aurora was one of the best things I’ve ever seen !! Staff was also excellent.

Nice nature experience

Sauna on the lake, location, nice tracking routes and hotel personal.

Not having the possibility to have dinner at the hotel, cleanings can be improved.

I like the room was extremely clean and the window in the roof was unique to me. The breakfast was very good. They even made seperate plate with hot stuff because I was vegetarian. The staff was extremely nice. I would go there whenever I get opportunity.

WiFi signal was little weak in the cabin. My phone kept loosing connection.

Wonderful activities offered, more expensive than some outside companies

Location, food, sauna by the river and lots of activities, friendly staff. Sauna by the river was fun but unfortunately not free.

The aurora app is not accurate, I missed the sighting twice because it did not ring or rang at the wrong time. Other guests also complained when I asked. You have to pay for this app 10€ to get the code. Don’t relies on it is my biggest advice. Better stay up. Minimal to no service. Have to pay for the sauna, gets expensive if you stay longer.

Nice and gentle staff, great view, exciting activities

We had a great week at the village. The cabins just look as on the pictures and you can perfectly watch stars and nothern lights from the bed. The offered activities (we did Huskey tour and snow mobile tour) were well organized and really exciting! The food is just great and you can flexibly have lunch. The village offers several kind of equipment - from cross country skies to snow overalls, all free of charge.

Absolutely exceptional place to stay. Completely out done any expectations. The cabins are stunning. Have everything you need. We had reindeers right outside our room. The staff were friendly, the food was exceptional, the views are amazing, and its close to the airport.

Excellent stay ! Thank you Aurora Village for such a Wonderful and unique Winter Lapland Experience!

Excellent breakfast choices: not too much but just the right amount. Well organized , clean and everything freshly made! Dinner : 3 courses fine dining experience Aurora Cabin : perfect to view Aurora Borealis . Watching the Northern lights while lying in bed was a unique experience ! Comfy bed , spacious and cozy ! Barrel Sauna : we reserved before sunset ! Such a wonderful experience including a cold plunge in a frozen lake! Not to be missed !

Unique acommodation

The view from the room and the food from breakfast and dinner

It was a little cold in the room for our taste. Also, the window heating for 2 out of 5 windows didn't work and because it snowed we couldn't see anything outside. When we told the receptionist she told us to try the heating system again(even though we told her we already did this a couple of times) and that she is alone and she will get someone to look at the windows the next day(we were leaving the next day so it wasn't really helpful for us)

Wonderful

Food was exceptional and of high restaurant quality.

Maybe a personal introduction to all facilities and activities at the resort could have enticed us to participate in further resort activities. There was a lot to offer that wasn't detailed on the website.
